Tastes very good The price would be okay if the portion weren't too small. The size of the portion has been a problem for years. Otherwise very good food.

On 10/30 we visited the Berggarten restaurant. The service was very friendly. The menu was already on the table, we were asked about our drink requests, in addition to wine and beer, we also ordered a bottle of still water. The food was not great, but ok, even if a bit too cold for me. The bad surprise followed with the bill; € 8.00 !!!! for a 1 liter returnable PET bottle Thuringian Waldquell, is that perhaps why there is no drinks menu available? That made me swallow hard and ask, it wasn't a mistake, it is actually charged at € 8.00 and therefore costs more than the same amount of beer.

Certainly sufficient as a beer garden and excursion destination, but if you visit this place with the aim of eating well, you should consider another location. Schnitzel for € 14.90, which is a breaded minute steak; Pork neck steak for 13.90 € which is a fried minute steak and a colorful salad with all sorts of 5 ready-made salads for 9.90 € can be expected here.

Came in on Sunday without a reservation and were welcomed and served very friendly ... The food was very tasty and inexpensive ... Here you can eat and drink well. There are also very tasty types of cake in the range

Always nice here. Sanitary facilities are very clean and the prices are also completely acceptable, as is customary in the area. The two playgrounds for the children, which are in the immediate vicinity, are particularly beautiful.

My favorite place in Gotha 😎 The mountain garden is above the city. On the way there you have a beautiful view of the castle and the city. Unfortunately there is no view from the mountain garden because trees grow all around. In the beer garden, Gothaer beer and delicious, hearty dishes are served. The service is friendly and tried hard. Two playgrounds pass the time for the children 😉
